Environmental & social action
In October 1997, JFE Chemical was one of the first companies in the industry to acquire ISO 14001 environmental management system certification. Now, both our Chiba Plant and Kurashiki Plant have acquired ISO 14001 certification as parts of JFE Steel’s ironworks, while our Kasaoka Plant is independently certified as ISO 14001-compliant coal-chemistry works.
Through ISO 14001 environmental activities, we strive incessantly to meet our environmental goal of “zero emissions.”
